A person may become
a member either by confessing his faith in Jesus as Christ,
the Son of the living God or by transferring his membership
from another church. To become a member, following the
sermon, at the minister's invitation, you may come forward
to the altar. You may accept the invitation to become a
member at any service. |

Outreach
|
|
Convalescent
Homes- The
church ministers to 5 convalescents homes each
month. Most
of the residents of the homes cannot get to church
so we bring church the to them.
The residents are old and young with various
disabilities. We
cannot forget the members of our church that can no
longer care for themselves and need 24 hour care.
|
|
Homeless
Ministry- Hundreds of
individuals are ministered to each 3rd
Sunday with the word, clothing and food.
The church alternates its location for the
homeless in downtown Los Angeles (Skid Row) and on
the church parking lot.
People are hungry for the word as well
physical food and at New Testament, they can receive
both!
|
|
Angel
Tree- The
church participates in the Prison Fellowship
Ministry and contributes towards providing Christmas
gifts to the children of incarcerated men and women
in Southern California. This is a nationwide ministry, which New Testament is proud
to be a part of each year.
More information on this ministry can be
found at
www.angeltree.org.
|
|
Transportation-
Transportation
to the church on Sundays and Wednesdays is provided
free of charge.
Contact
the church at least one day in advance if you are in
need of transportation to services.

Faith
In Action- Leadership Class
|
|
For as
the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works
is dead also. The
Faith In Action ministry at New Testament Church began in
February 2002. The purpose of Faith In Action is to inspire
and equip completely committed Christians who are completely
committed to Godly action. The activities of Faith In Action
include Sunday Bible study, community outreach, youth vs.
adult sporting events, and phone ministries. We thank God
for the committed men, youth, and elders who have
participated in the various Faith In Action activities.
Through prayer and faithful service, we are confident that
God will continue to bless the Faith In Action men in our
mission to follow Christ. For more information on Faith in
Action, see Brothers Steven Neal or Derek Williams.
